Our Philosophy

Amy Ficklin DeBrota, lawyer, wife and mother of two, established The DeBrota Law Firm LLC in Indianapolis, Indiana with the philosophy that the concepts of quality legal work and quality of life are not mutually exclusive. The firm uses the latest technology in order to operate a law practice that is primarily internet based and nearly "paperless." This allows us to work flexible schedules from a variety of locations. This translates into a more enjoyable professional and personal experience for us and better legal and mediation services for our clients. Ms. DeBrota’s practice focuses on representing individual and multiple employees in litigation, providing neutral pre-litigation employment dispute mediation and advising companies on how to improve their human resources policies and procedures in order to reduce the likelihood of employment related litigation. Our firm operates a statewide practice across Indiana and also handles class action litigation in other states.
