et al. v. U.S. Security Associates, Inc., Cause No. 1:04-CV-0049-DFH-TAB,
a collective action for unpaid wages and overtime under the Fair
Labor Standards Act in U.S. District Court for the Southern District
of Indiana with companion cases in the Southern District of Ohio,
Middle District of Tennessee and New Jersey federal district courts
and achieved favorable global settlement;
Lead counsel in Simpson,
et al. v. Flagstar Bank, Cause No. IP01-1468-C-K/T, housing/lending
discrimination class action in U.S. District Court for the Southern
District of Indiana, resulting in an approximate $1,165,000.00
settlement;
Lead
counsel in Freeman,
et al. v. Supervalu Holdings, Cause No. 1:99CV0347, Equal
Pay Act/sex discrimination opt-in class action pursued in conjunction
with EEOC, resulting in $1.2 million total settlement;
Lead
counsel in Cadwell
et al. v. Fraternal Order of Eagles, in which the Indiana
Civil Rights Commission found the Eagles' "males only"
membership policy was contrary to the Indiana Constitution;
Numerous
additional employment case settlements, many of which are
subject to confidentiality agreements; and,
- Other Class Actions: Vioxx Products Liability Litigation, MDL
No. 1657; In re: Bextra and Celebrex Marketing Sales Practices
and Product Liability Litigation, MDL No. 1699; In re: Guidant
Corporation, et al., MDL No. 1708; and, Thomas Burnett, Sr., et
al. v. Al Baraka Investment and Development Corporation, et al.,
MDL No. 1570, currently pending in the U.S. District Court for
the Southern District of New York, regarding the terrorist attacks
of September 11, 2001.
